SAC COUNTY BOARD MINUTES

The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted.
Ayes all, motion carried.

The Board met via telephone conference with the Boards of Supervisors from Calhoun and Buena Vista Counties to consider some drainage district business.

It was moved by Merten, B.V. County, and seconded by Wissler, Sac County, to appoint Ranell Drake as chairman and Renee Roland as secretary. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Wissler and seconded by George, Calhoun County to approve a bill for engineering services in Joint Drainage District 16-30-92 for $360.00. Ayes all, motion carried.

Brian Blomme, Drainage Engineer for the three counties, will prepare a Memorandum of Understanding to allow the control county of a joint drain to pay bills under a certain amount. No action was taken.

It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Ridgely, Calhoun County, to adjourn.

It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve application for a proposed tile investigation and repair in DD 71, located in Section 29, Delaware Township in the amount of $1600.00. Ayes all, motion carried.

On recommendation from Dr. Zoltan Pek, it was moved by Fischer and seconded by Wissler to appoint paramedics Robert Murley and Justin Schulte as medical examiner investigators and provide field training and coursework to be completed within one year.
Ayes all, motion carried.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Wissler to re-appoint Ron Fielmier to the Sac County Veteran's Affairs Commission for a three-year term. Ayes all, motion carried.

There was no action on appointing a member to the Board of Adjustment.

It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve the Treasurer's semi­ annual report for the period beginning January 1, 2025, through July 30, 2025. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Wissler to approve the claims as listed on the Claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
