SAC COUNTY BOARD MINUTES

The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Fischer and Drake present. Supervisor Wissler was absent. Ran ell Drake, Chairman, presided over the meeting. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake that Jim Wissler serve as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for 2026. Ayes all, motion carried. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to designate the Sac Sun and the Chronicle as official Sac County newspapers for 2026. Ayes all, motion carried. 

The Chairman appointed each supervisor to the same committees as in 2025. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to table action on holiday courthouse closings for 2026. Ayes all, motion carried. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to re-appoint Dr. Pek, Marge Sands and Kathy Drake to the Sac County Board of Health for a three-year term. Ayes all, motion carried. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to table any action on an amendment to a lease agreement with Verizon Wireless. Ayes all, motion carried. 

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried. 

There was no report from the County Engineer. 

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
