The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Mike
Fischer, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all,
motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the
status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to sign a safety action plan for
implementing safety strategies for safe roads in Sac County. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Board reviewed a report from Calhoun-Burns on deficient bridge notifications in Sac
County. There were eight bridges on the list. No action was taken.
The Board and the Sheriff reviewed the results of public measure Bon the November 5
General Election ballot regarding the jail bond question and the future of the Sac County jail. The
measure failed by less than 2%. The Board agreed that the question should be put before the voters
of Sac County when possible.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to cancel the regular meeting of the Board
of Supervisors scheduled for December 24, due to the Christmas holiday. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the claims as listed on the
claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the drainage claims as
submitted. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
