The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Mike
Fischer, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to amend the agenda to consider a
delinquent tax assignment. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes
all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to assign a County held tax certificate
number 17-0046 on Lot 4, Block 16, College Addition to Sac City to Hannah and Conner Willson
and abate the taxes in the amount of $11,355.85. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the Seatbelt/Restraint policy as
recommended by the Iowa Municipalities Work Compensation Association. Ayes all, motion
carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve application for underground
construction through Sac County Drainage District 59 submitted by Corn Belt Telephone. Ayes all,
motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the
claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve application for a tile in drainage
district 56, Branch 5 located in Section 18, Sac Township in the amount of $1,400.00. Ayes all,
motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve claims on Joint Drainage
District 59, Calhoun and 7, Sac in the amount of $5,600.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the County Road crews and the
status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to accept and approve the plans for
reconstruction of part of the Sauk Rail Trail in Sac County. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
