The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Mike
Fischer, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all,
motion carried.
Lance Wilhelm was present to update the Board on the Sac County bike trail project which
will go from Loring Hospital, through Sac City to the Iowa D.O. T. property west of Sac City. The
second phase of the project will go from the D.O.T. to County Road M68. Wilhelm suggested that
Sac County act as fiscal agent for the second phase. No action was taken.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the
status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was move by Drake and seconded by Wissler to adopt Resolution 24-1024A accepting the
low bid of $68,450.00 submitted by Christensen Brothers Inc, for project L-WH-2890- - 73 - 81 and
authorizing the County Engineer to execute the contracts in connection with the afore awarded
contract. Ayes Drake, Fischer, Wissler; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to adopt Resolution 24-1024B accepting
the low bid of $64,410.00 submitted by Christensen Brothers Inc, for Project LFM - LE-0305- - 7X-81
and authorizing the County Engineer to execute the contracts in connection with the afore awarded
contract. Ayes Drake, Fischer, Wissler; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to adopt Resolution 24-1024C, adopting
Documents pertaining to Sac County's compliance with Title VI Provisions of the Civil Rights Act of
1964. Ayes Drake, Fischer, Wissler; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the
claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to appoint Dean Stock as reclassification
commissioner for Joint Drainage District 20-119. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
