The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with two members present, Jim Wissler was absent. Ranell Drake, Chairman, presided over the meeting. the minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted.
Ayes all, motion carried.

The County Engineer updated the Board on the activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the plans and specifications for the following projects; FM-CO81(88)-55-81, FM-CO81(87)-55-81,FM­ CO81(85)-55-81, FM-CO81(86)-55-81and FM-81(97)-55-81. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the Sheriff's quarterly report for the quarter ending September 30, 2025. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the Recorder's quarterly report for the quarter ending September 30,2025. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried. It was noted that a warrant was issued to Sac County jail committee for $900.00. These funds were donations to the proposed new jail that should not have been deposited in the general fund.

At 10:30 am, the Chairman opened the public hearing for the second reading of the proposed ordinance establishing requirements for utility scale solar energy systems. There was no one present to support or oppose the proposed ordinance.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to close the public hearing. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to hold a public hearing for the third reading of the proposed requirements for utility scale solar energy systems on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:15 am. Ayes all, motion carried.

With there being no further business on motion, the meeting adjourned.
