The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with two members present,
Ranell Drake was absent. Mike Fischer, Chairman, presided over the meeting. the minutes were
approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve the agenda. Ayes all, motion
carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve the claims as listed on the
claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the
status of current maintenance and construction projects via email.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to table any action on a lease agreement
between Sac County and Sac County Mutual Telephone Company until the August 6 meeting. ayes
all, motion carried.
The Board visited with the County Attorney and the County Planning Commissioner I
Sanitarian regarding the nuisance abatement ordinance and some possible amendments to the
ordinance.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to call for a public hearing on an
amendment to the County's nuisance abatement ordinance to be held on Tuesday, August 20,
2024, at 10:30 AM. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
