The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim
Wissler, chairman, presiding. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all,
motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on the activities of the county road crews and the status
of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Drake and seconded Fischer to approve the hiring of Chad Brotherson in the
Secondary roads department. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve an application for renewal of a
special Class B native wine license submitted by Midnight Sun. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the claims as listed on the claims
register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve a year-end Substance Abuse
Prevention grant report. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve a building permit in a transition zone
located at 2676 Sierra Avenue submitted by Steve Constantine. Ayes all, motion carried.
Bailey Piihl, PHN Administrator and Sherrie Wilson, Sac County Environmental Health specialist
and Planning and Zoning officer informed the Board of Ms. Wilson's pending retirement. The Board was
informed that the position would be advertised as full or part-time to encourage more interest.
The County Attorney and the Board of Supervisors discussed the development of a nuisance
ordinance and the possibility of recodifying the County's ordinances. No action was taken.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
