                The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding.  The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
                It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                During the citizen input portion of the meeting, Dale Wagner, Editor of the Sac Sun commented about a violation of the Open Meetings Law when a Sac County resident addressed the Board after the August 20th meeting had adjourned and asked the Board to recall the conversation which was held behind closed doors.  The Board stated that it was a general conversation about the wind turbine project, no action was taken and the Board apologized for the incident.
                Jim Frederick gave an update on the North Raccoon River watershed project.  He stated that the next meeting would be held in October in Lake City, Iowa.
                The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
                County Attorney Ben Smith requested the Board go into closed session to discuss a subject which could possibly result in litigation.  It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to go into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5, paragraph 1, paren (c).  Ayes Drake, Wilhelm and Wissler, nays none, motion carried.  Time – 10:40 am.  those in attendance included Ben Smith County Attorney, Zac Andersen County Engineer, Supervisors Drake, Wilhelm and Wissler and County Auditor Jim Dowling.
                It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to come out of closed session at 11:05 am.  The County Attorney advised the audience that no action was decided upon in closed session and that he would have comments at next week’s meeting.
                With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
