The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
Todd Wanninger with Carroll Controls presented an updated quote for HVAC replacement in the law enforcement center and court system and an estimate for replacing the Trane chiller and fan coil system in the main courthouse. The Board discussed some minor options and asked for additional information from Mr. Wanninger.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to move forward with the project, accept the proposal subject to changes with the additional information provided by Mr. Wanninger. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
Brandy Ripley, Executive Director of SETD, was present to discuss the status of the development property located at the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 71 Northeast of Sac City and requested a contribution from the County to pay the current property taxes.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to contribute $10,000 from the Special Projects fund for that purpose and continue discussion on how to meet the remaining financial obligations. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to abate the taxes on parcel number 811614500017 in the amount of $14.00 and parcel number 811614500019 in the amount of $2.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
