The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to amend the agenda to consider official newspapers designation for 2020. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve a proposed tile repair in Joint Drainage District 44, Sac and 182, Calhoun located in Section 1, Sac Township, Sac County, in the amount of $16,500.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
Ron Hade, representing the Lytton Area Emergency Services, gave an update on the progress of the new fire station in Lytton. Several grants had been applied for and to date approximately $112,000 had been collected or pledged and a request of a contribution was submitted to the Sac County Board of Supervisors.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to contribute $5,000 from the current 19/20 budget and $5,000 from the 20/21 budget. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to designate The Chronicle and The Sac Sun as official county newspapers for calendar year 2020. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects. The Engineer reported that Phase 2 Utility permit for non-perpendicular crossing for the Richland wind project had been submitted and earthwork for intersection improvements has been completed.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
