                The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding.  The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
                It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted.   Ayes all, motion carried.
                Steve Dahm from Early was present to express his concerns about additional wind towers in Sac County. 
                The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to accept the low bid of $49,250.00 submitted by Christensen Brothers, Inc of Cherokee, Iowa for Project L-WH-3506—73-81, abutment repair.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the 2018 payment policy for right of way acquisition using a factor of 4.0 times the current values listed by the Sac County Assessor and compensation rates for fence removal and replacement.   Ayes all, motion carried.
                The Board and the engineer discussed the position of assistant to the Engineer II and a range for a starting salary.  No action was taken.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                With there being no further business on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
