The Sac Country Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
The American Rescue Plan committee met with the Board to present recommendations for ARP funding. It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a request from the Sac County Ambulance for $1800.00 to purchase three electrostatic disinfector for the sheds in Schaller, Odebolt and Lake View and a request for $7,239.00 to replace the emergency generator at the Sac City shed and a request from the Recorder’s office for $119,553 to scan and store all the documents in the Recorder’s office except the Vitals. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Committee and the Supervisors discussed a request from the City of Lake View for $200,000 for infrastructure for a housing development. No action was taken on this item.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to accept a quote from Denco Highway for slurry leveling of 24 miles of asphalt road for $194,626.10. ayes all, motion carried.
The County Sheriff updated the Board on staffing issues in the Sheriff’s office.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a request for special projects funds in the amount of $3500 submitted by the Odebolt Betterment Committee. Ayes all, motion carried.
Scot McDonough, Sac County EMS Director, and the Board met to discuss union negotiations. It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to go into closed session at 11:00 AM. Ayes Wissler, Wilhelm and Drake; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to go out of closed session at 11:20 AM. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
