The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve application for renewal of liquor license submitted by Trailside Roadhouse in Carnarvon. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the transfers of $32,570.75 from General Basic Fund to Secondary Road Fund and $360,850.75 from Rural Basic Fund to Secondary Road Fund. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the drainage claims as submitted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a contract with Richards Construction for Project BROS-SWAP-CO81(71)—SE-81 (RI-1790) in the amount of $154,654.50. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to adopt Resolution 19-0319 opposing Senate Study Bill 1045 and Senate File 184 passed by the Senate Committee on Transportation which would allow the Iowa DOT to issue annual permits to forestry industry hauler for loads up to 130,000 pounds on nonprimary highways throughout Iowa, without knowledge of or notice given to the agencies which own these highways and the structures thereon. Ayes; Wilhelm, Wissler and Drake, nays none, motion carried.
