The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Board reviewed two proposals for elevator upgrades submitted by Otis Elevator Company and Shumacher Elevator Company. It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to table any decision on the proposals until the next regular board meeting. Ayes all, motion carried.
As prescribed by law, the Board took up the canvass for the city/school election held November 5, 2019, and offer the following results; Schaller; Mayor, Sean Ehrp – 94*, Spencer Claussen – 50, Mary M Weir – 56. On motion by Wilhelm and second by Wissler, the Board declared the winners of the city mayoral and council races as indicated by an *. Ayes all, motion carried. A second tier canvass will take place at the next regular Board meeting to consider additional votes cast for school board candidates.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
County Engineer Zac Anderson announced to the Board that he had accepted the position of County Engineer with Carroll County. No official date of resignation had been set.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
