The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with two members present, Brent Wilhelm was absent. Ranell Drake, Chairman, presided. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve a Bond Dissemination Agent Agreement, authorizing Nate Summers with UMB to make the annual regulatory filings for Sac County’s outstanding bonds. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve a proposed tile investigation/repair in Joint DD 90 – 290 located in Section 28, Sac Township in the amount of $500. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the final pay retainage to Cedar Falls Construction Company for the 21/22 PCC paving project in the amount of $9,439.96. Ayes all, motion carried.
As prescribed by law, the Board took up the canvass of the November 8, General Election and offer the following results: For U. S. Senator, Michael Franken – 914, Charles Grassley – 2,999*; For U.S. Representative District 4, Ryan Melton – 777, Randy Feenstra – 2,998*, Bryan Jack Holder – 85; For Governor/Lieutenant Governor, Deidre DaJear/ Eric Van Lancker – 754, Kim Reynolds / Adam Gregg - 3,135*, Rick Stewart / Marco Battaglia – 68; For Secretary of State, Joel Miller – 811, Paul D.
