The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim
Wissler, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to amend the agenda to consider letter of
engagement with an auditing firm. Ayes all, motion carried.
Tina Roth, Sac County Treasurer, informed the Board of Supervisors that she had been in contact
with someone from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation regarding the County deposits in Citizen's
Bank. She was told that all of the County's deposits were secure after the Citizen's Bank had been
declared insolvent.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to direct the Chairman and the County Auditor
to sign a letter of engagement with T.P. Anderson & Company, CPA's to audit the County's books for fiscal
year ending June 30, 2023. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the claims as listed on the claims
register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer submitted a written report of the activities of the county road crews and
the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
Bailey Pihl, Sac County Public Health Administrator, presented three bids for carpeting in the
public health office. After some discussion, it was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to reject all
bids and direct the County custodial staff to install carpet squares in the area. Ayes all, motion carried
.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
