                There was no citizen input.
Scott Bundt and Renee Jacobson, members of the John Criss Trust, presented a proposal for a downtown street improvement project to replace the sidewalks on either side of Main Street from East State Street to 6th Street.  The existing sidewalks would be removed and replaced with brick pavers.  The committee asked that each property owner pay for part of the sidewalk adjacent to the buildings.  Sac County’s share of the project, which would include sidewalks in front of the Courthouse and in Monument Square, would total approximately $31,600.  No action was taken.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to accept the resignation of Darrell Meister as Viola Township Clerk.  Ayes all, motion carried.  It was noted that the Viola Township Trustees would have to appoint a replacement for Mr. Meister.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office.  Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
