                The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding.  The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the agenda as posted.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                Jim Bullock, Sac County EMA Director, informed the Board that staff from Loring Hospital had requested security badges through the County’s Salamander project for the hospital staff.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock that any emergency personnel in Sac County be allowed to acquire the security badges through the County’s Salamander project for a fee of $1.50 per badge.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to renew the County Substance Abuse Prevention Services Agreement with New Opportunities in Carroll, Iowa with grant funding from the Iowa Department of Public Health in the amount of $2,440 and Sac County contributing $7,320 for FYE 6/30/19.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to call for a public hearing for September 25, 2018, at 10:30 am to consider vacating the alley between Roscoe Street and Maple Street in Ulmer, Iowa.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
                With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
