Sac County Magistrate Courtroom
10:00 AM
The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present. Mike Fischer, Chairman, presided. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to accept a quote from Office Elements for replacement of the board room furnishings in the amount of $10,121.83. Ayes all. Motion carried.
Craig Pellersels and Ed Melin appeared before the board presenting a request signed by 8 landowners living on portions of Shasta Avenue and portions of Sierra Avenue for a 50/50 cost share between landowners and the county for dust control application. There was no action taken.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as presented in the amount of $429,527.37. Ayes all. Motion carried.
Chairman Fischer opened the Public Hearing on the FY 2025 Proposed Budget at 10:30am. There was no one present in support or opposed to the proposed budget.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to close the public hearing at 10:32am. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to adopt the proposed FY 20215 budget as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to adopt Resolution #24-0423-A, Resolution Approving the FY 2025 Budget and Approving the County Levies and Property Tax Levied Dollars, with total county levies being 9.13313 and the total property tax levies being $8,245,214. Roll call vote: Drake – aye, Fischer – aye, Wissler – aye. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and approved by Wissler to adopt Resolution #24-0423-B. Resolution Approving Salary Recommendations for Elected Officials for FY 2025 as follows: Auditor - $78,914, Attorney - $131,235, Recorder - $74,350, Sheriff - $103,302, Supervisor - $34,014 and Treasurer - $74,350. Roll call vote: Drake – aye, Fischer – aye, Wissler – aye. Ayes all. Motion carried.
County Attorney, Ben Smith, appeared before the Board and discussed some potential amendments to the County Wind Ordinance. No action was taken.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
