The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the transfers of $347,793.50 from Rural Basic Fund to Secondary Road fund and $31,131.25 from General Basic fund to Secondary Road fund. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the Sheriff’s quarterly report for the quarter ending March 31, 2018. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve a contract between Sac County and Region XII Council of Governments for $6,000.00 to provide certain technical and professional services to review, update and prepare the County’s Code of Ordinances and zoning ordinances including ten printed copies and one electronic PDF copy. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
Several representatives from the Sac City Recreational Trails committee were present to seek support from the Board of Supervisors on grant applications for a recreational trail from Sac City to Lake View. It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to furnish a letter of support for the project. Ayes all, motion carried.
Mark Zaccone with Invenergy was present to encourage the Board of Supervisors to attend the Planning and Zoning meeting on Thursday, April 5, to hear discussion on the zoning regulations for wind turbines in Sac County.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
