The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to amend the agenda to consider a public hearing for a budget amendment. Ayes all, motion carried
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.
Eric Yunginger, Sac County Drainage Watchman, gave the Board an update of drainage activity in Sac County for the past calendar year.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a proposed beaver dam removal in Drainage District 71 located in Section 7, Jackson Township for a cost of $800.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve a proposed tile repair in Drainage District 75 located in Section 35, Richland Township in the amount of $1,300.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Board, County Engineer and the Auditor’s office staff reviewed possible changes in the County’s group health care coverage. No action was taken.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to adopt Resolution 22.- 0405, approving the transfer of $1,087,984.70 from Secondary Road fund to Farm-to-Market fund for project FM-CO81(75)—55-81, the overlay project on County Road D-36. Ayes Drake, Wilhelm and Wissler; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the Sheriff’s quarterly report for the quarter ending March 31, 2022. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the Recorder’s quarterly report for the quarter ending March 31, 2022. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wisler and seconded by Wilhelm to call for a public hearing on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, to consider the disposition of certain county property. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to call for a public hearing on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, to consider an amendment to the current County budget. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
