The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the transfers of $446,199.75 From Rural Basic fund to Secondary Road fund and $39,944.75 from General Basic fund to Secondary Road fund. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Board continued the conversation regarding a lease agreement with Verizon wireless for tower space on the County’s tower adjacent to the Law Enforcement Center. Negotiations will continue.
The Board received a letter from New Opportunities offering to partner with Sac County to develop a plan to spend a portion of the opioid dollars on treatment, prevention and workplace training for substance abuse. No action was taken.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved b y Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve payment of retainage in the amount of $30,000 to Inroads, LLC for project FM-CO81 (82) –55-81. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve and accept the low bid of $187,685.80 submitted by Cramer and Associates, Inc for project LFM-BV-3350—7X-81, bridge deck overlay on County Road D37. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
