The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to amend the agenda to consider a liquor license application, set the budget hearing date, consider health insurance changes and discuss wages with the Treasurer and Recorder. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.
Kris Babcock, Sac County Treasurer, and Laura McKeever, Sac County Recorder were present to request an additional one dollar per hour raise for two of their staff. The Board took no action pending further discussion on the budget.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to eliminate the group health insurance step program which applies to new hires effective July 1, 2019. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to set the public hearing for the 2019/20 Sac County budget for Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 10:30 AM in the Board Room. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a liquor license renewal application submitted by Sac County Golf and Country Club. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to accept a petition for evaluation of existing tile in DD 59 and appoint I&S Group as engineers for the project. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county Road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to accept the low bid of $48,466.25 submitted by Vogel Traffic Services, Inc for pavement markings for 2019. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
