The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
Sheriff McClure gave a brief update on the security camera project in the courthouse and the south annex. The project is near completion.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a drainage repair bill in the amount of $600.00 submitted by Marty Mauer Tiling for repair in Joint DD64, Sac and 105 BV located in Section 2, Delaware Township. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
Preston Jacobs updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to accept the low bid of $59,084.24 for 2020 pavement marking project submitted by Vogel Traffic Services, Inc. Ayes all, motion carried.
At 10:30 am, as advertised, the Chairman opened the Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the current 2019/20 Sac County budget. There was no one from the general public in attendance.
The County Auditor explained the increase in revenues and expenditures which appeared on the amendment. Revenues in the general fund increased by $80,000 from fees collected for prisoner room and board. Expenditures increased by $12,000 in Public Safety for consulting fees on a communication system upgrade and by $33,000 in Administration for the purchase and installation of security cameras in the courthouse and the south annex.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to close the public hearing at 10:43 am. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to approve the amendment to the current budget as proposed. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
