The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at an earlier time with all members present, Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
Tom Scheutz with Group Services, the County’s group health third party administrator, presented information regarding the coverage renewal for 20/21. The Blue Cross – Blue Shield rates for Sac County increased by 1.4%. the Board and Mr. Scheutz discussed options for the renewal plan. No action was taken.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to approve a tile repair in DD 28 located in sections 17 & 20, Sac Township for an estimated cost of $626.50. Ayes all, motion carried.
Preston Jacobs from the County Engineer’s office updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to adopt Resolution 20-0114 authorizing Ranell Drake to e-sign certain documents for construction projects. Ayes; Wilhelm, Drake and Wissler, nays none, motion carried.
The Board discussed several items regarding the 20/21 budget workshops. No action was taken.
Jane Barto, President of the Sac County Historical Society presented the group’s funding request for 20/21 which included a 2.5% increase. The increase would bring the total funding to $9510 to support six museums in Sac County. No action was taken.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
