The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Mike
Fischer, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all,
motion carried.

It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the
claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.

The Board noted the change in the Federal mileage reimbursement rate adjusted to 67
cents per mile and pursuant to County Resolution, the new county rate will be 60 cents per mile.
Brandy Wilson, Executive Director of S.E.T.D, updated the Board of activities of that agency
over the past year and goals set for 2023/24. A funding request of $90,000 was submitted for
consideration for the 24/25 budget. No action was taken.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the
status of current maintenance and construction projects.

The Engineer presented his proposed budget for 24/25.

County Attorney Ben Smith met with the Board via telephone and requested a closed
session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5.c. It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to
go into closed session at 11 :50 AM. Ayes Drake, Fischer and Wissler; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to go out of closed session at 11 :58. Ayes
all, motion carried.

County Attorney Smith requested a second closed session to discuss matters pertaining to
a certain case. It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to go into closed session at 11 :59.
Ayes Drake, Wissler and Fischer; nays none, motion carried.

It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to go out of closed session at 12:10.
Motion carried.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
