The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
There was no citizen input for this meeting.
It was noted by the County Auditor that one position of the Sac County Condemnation Compensation Commission was vacated when David Wilken passed away. The Board of Supervisors will consider an appointment to fill that vacancy.
There was brief discussion regarding a Business Associate’s agreement for Rolling Hills Regional mental health services. No action was taken.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the transfers of $347,793.50 from Rural Basic Fund to Secondary Road Fund and $31,131.25 from General Basic Fund to Secondary Road Fund. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Hecht to approve application for approval of construction across established drainage districts 28 and 56 submitted by Corn Belt Telephone to bury fiber in the road right of way. Ayes Drake and Hecht, nays none, Stock abstained. Motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the renewal of an employment contract and agreement entered into by Calhoun County Board of Supervisors, Sac County Board of Supervisors and Zac Anderson, County Engineer for both Counties with a 3.5% in annual salary for fiscal year 2018/19. Ayes all, motion carried. That annual salary will be $105,201.28.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
