The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
During the citizen input portion of the meeting, Jen Buehler expressed her disappointment in the Board of Supervisors for having adopted a wind turbine ordinance when so many residents expressed opposition to them. John Currie informed the Board of pending litigation regarding the ordinance.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve an application for approval of construction across drainage districts 62, 43 and 68 submitted by Aureon Network Services to bury fiber optic cable in the right-of-way along County Road D 15. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve a claim for material used in Jt DD 181 submitted by Pocahontas County Secondary Roads in the amount of $107.60. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Board directed Brian Blomme with ISG to investigate the cost of video-taping a section of approximately 500’ of dd 59 to determine the steps in repairing the tile line.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
