The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Auditor presented a proposal for guidelines for reopening the Sac County Government. After reviewing the document, it was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to reopen the Sac County Courthouse and other locations on June 4, 2020, at 1:30 pm, by appointment only. Ayes all, motion carried. Normal business operations will resume on June 16 unless otherwise noted. Supervisor Drake suggested that all employees should dress in business casual and “present yourself as professionals”.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to approve application for renewal of liquor license submitted by Prairie Pedlar Celebrations. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to appoint Brian Blomme as Drainage Watchman for the remainder of fiscal year 19/20 and authorize him to execute all new and past drainage repair work orders. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to approve a proposed tile repair in Joint DD 90, Sac and 290, Calhoun Counties located in Section 36, Sac Township in the amount of $1,400.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
At 10:30, the Chairman opened the public hearing on a proposed budget amendment for fiscal year ending June 30, 2020. The County Auditor explained the increases in revenue and expenditures and the departments for which they applied. The increase in expenditures represented .13% of the expenditures approved in March 2019 at the budget hearing.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Drake to close the public hearing at 10:36. Ayes all motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the budget amendment as proposed. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board via phone call on the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting adjourned.
