The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
Two residents from the Odebolt area inquired about the notice of building permits for the Invenergy wind turbine project and the vagueness of the language in the notice. The Board assured them that the application would not be approved if it wasn’t in order.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Drake to approve a proposed surface drain repair in Joint DD 181 located in Section 4, Williams Township, Calhoun County in the amount of $3,750.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Stock to approve a proposed tile repair in Joint DD 2 & 51, Branch A Lower located in Section 23, Cedar Township, Sac County in the amount of $800.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
At 1:00 PM, the Board took up the canvass of the General Election held November 6, 2018, and offer the following official results: For U.S. Representative, Dist 4; Steve King – 2549, J.D.
