The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Brent Wilhelm, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to amend the agenda to consider a 28E agreement. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.
Curtis Bloes asked for time during the Citizen input to discuss the request for the Board to declare Sac County a 2nd amendment sanctuary county. There was some discussion on the intent of the proposed resolution as well as the definition of “sanctuary”. No action was taken.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve an amended and substituted electronic services system 28E agreement to provide electronic recording and electronic transactions in each county recorders’ office for the purpose of creating and expanding access to public records. Ayes all, motion carried.
Sherri Kastein with the Family Crisis Center gave a brief overview of that agency’s purpose and services and a request to be considered for support in the 21/22 county budget. No action was taken.
The Board opened and reviewed the only bid received for the concrete pads for the communications towers control units. American Pavement Solutions submitted a bid of $24,810.00 for the pad at the Sac City tower and $22,150.00 for the pad at the Lake View site plus an hourly rate of $85.00 other work as needed.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to reject the bid. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve application for a tile crossing between Sections 9 and 16, Delaware Township. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
