Driver’s License Reinstatement Program
Sac County does not operate this program locally, instead the County contracts with the Boone County Attorney’s Office, which manages all enrollment, payment plans, and account services for participating counties.
Through this program, eligible individuals may work toward reinstating their driving privileges by entering into an approved payment plan and staying current on payments. Participants may also benefit from avoiding further collection actions, wage garnishment, and potential contempt proceedings.
Important Program Notes
- Boone County administers all collections and reinstatement plans for Sac County participants.
- Sac County residents who wish to enroll, make payments, or have questions about their current payment plan must contact Boone County directly.
- This program may allow reinstatement of driving privileges for unpaid court fines; however, other suspensions (such as child support or DOT civil penalties) may still apply and must be resolved separately.
