General Assistance is a county-funded program that can help eligible low-income residents of Jasper County with one-time emergency financial assistance.
An application and supporting documentation are required to determine eligibility. Assistance is granted in the form of a loan. Please call for more information or if you have any questions.
What Assistance is Available?
- Partial rent payment (eviction notice required)
- Current utility bill (disconnect notice required)
- One month fill on certain medications
- Burial/cremation (indigent only)
