Human Resources

Under the general direction of the County Board of Supervisors, the Director of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resource functions for Sac County. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the development and administration of policies and programs covering employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee and labor relations, and the coordination and administration of hiring, as well as compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
