Sex Offenders
By Iowa code, the Sac County Sheriff’s Office must register Sex Offenders who reside or establish a residence, employment, or attendance as a student within the County.
Offenders who need to register with the Sac County Sheriff’s Office must do so in person between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Registrations Requirements
Offenders must register upon moving to Sac County. All information, specified by Iowa code chapter 692A at the time of initial registration, must be provided and any changes to that information must be reported within five (5) business days.
If you are aware of an offender who has not registered or is not living at their registered address, please contact our office, and we will check that they are compliant with the Iowa Code.
