Discussion and possible action on Resolution No. 2026-1001, a resolution approving an Intergovernmental Agreement pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 28E among Calhoun County, Greene County, and Sac County for the establishment of a shared Victim-Witness Coordinator position serving the county attorney offices of the three counties, effective October 1, 2026, superseding the 2006 Calhoun-Sac Shared Victim Witness Coordinator 28E Agreement; authorizing the Chair and the County Auditor to execute the Agreement; approving the appointment of the Coordinator for purposes of Iowa Code              § 331.903; directing the County Auditor to file the Agreement with the Iowa Secretary of State and to include the County's expenditures and receipts under the Agreement in the next regularly scheduled amendment to the fiscal year 2026-2027 county budget; and authorizing the County Attorney to submit the updated budget and scope of work under the Victim Witness Coordinator grant awarded to Sac County. Submitted in writing by Sac County Attorney Benjamin Smith, who is unable to attend due to a trial; supporting materials were provided to the Board through the County Auditor
