Minutes for May 18, 2021

 The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Brent Wilhelm, Chairman, presiding.  The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the agenda as posted.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to direct the Chairman to sign a proclamation declaring the Month of May, 2021, as Mental Health Month in Sac County.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve application for renewal of a liquor license submitted by Rustic River Winery.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve an increase from $50 to $100 a fee for appeals for variances and special use permits through the County Planning and Zoning.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
                Scott Bundt and Renee Jacobsen, representing the John Criss Trust, were present to give an update on the main street beautification projects. 
                The Chairman administered the Oath of Office to Josh Egesdel who was recently hired as a deputy sheriff for Sac County.
                It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office.  Ayes all, motion carried.
                With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
