Minutes for July 12, 2022
The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded Wissler to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve a Master Matrix plan submitted by Summit Pork III, LLP for construction of an animal confinement feeding operation to be located in Section 6, Cedar Township near the intersection of County Road N14 and 220th Street. Ayes all, motion carried.
There was no action taken on a county held tax certificate assignment pending advice from the County Attorney.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the cash on hand report for fiscal year ending June 30, 2022. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to approve the Sheriff’s quarterly report for the quarter ending June 30, 2022. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wilhelm and seconded by Wissler to approve the County Recorder’s quarterly report for the quarter ending June 30, 2022. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Wilhelm to offer a letter of support for a grant for signs to identify all rivers and streams crossing county hard surface roads. The grant is available through the Department of Natural Resources. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
