Minutes for October 1, 2024
The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Mike
Fischer, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to amend the agenda to consider the
Sheriff's quarterly report. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes
all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the
status of the current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Drake to approve the plans and notice to bidders
for project L-WH-2980-73-81, a bridge abutment repair in Section 20, Wheeler Township. Ayes all,
motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the plans and notice to bidders
for LFM-LE-0305-7X-81, a bridge abutment repair in Section 3, Levy Township. Ayes all, motion
carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the Sheriff's quarterly report for
the quarter ending September 30, 2024. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve a request submitted by the Sac
City VFW Post 590 for $5,000 to help with the construction of a new roof on the building. Ayes all,
motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Wissler to approve the claims as listed on the
claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
