Minutes for May 27, 2025
The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Ranell Drake, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Wissler to amend the agenda to include an action item regarding the timber bridge on 350th Street. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Wissler to direct Ben Smith, Sac County Attorney, and Nick Buse, Sac County Engineer, to seek remedies for timber bridge on 350th Street. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office in the amount of $183,099.87. Ayes all, motion carried.
Chairman Drake opened the Public Hearing for an Amendment for Fiscal Year 2025 Budget at 10:15am.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to close the public hearing. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Wissler and seconded by Fischer to approve and adopt the Budget Amendment showing $198,876 in additional revenue and $421,251 in additional expense for Fiscal Year 2025. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
