Minutes for January 20, 2026
The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to rescind a county resolution adjusting the mileage reimbursement rate to 90% of the rate established by the Internal Revenue Service. Ayes Drake, Fischer, Wissler; nays none, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to maintain the county mileage reimbursement rate at 63 cents per mile for official county business. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve application for a liquor license renewal submitted by Sac County Golf and Country Club. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the Treasurer's Semi-annual report for the period from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the claims listed on the claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
Representatives from the Sac County Fair Board presented the annual report for the 2025 fair and projections for the 2026 fair. They requested the same amount of funding for 2026/2027 as 2025/206. No action was taken.
Jane Barto presented the annual report for the Sac County Historical Society and a funding request for $11,500 or approximately $1,643 for each of the seven museums in Sac County. This represents an increase of 4.5%. No action was taken.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
