The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to appoint Becky Blackman of Rural Early, to the Sac County Planning and Zoning Commission. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve application of voluntary annexation to the City of Odebolt, part of lots 9 and 7 and part of 5th Street in Highland Park Addition to the City of Odebolt. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve application for underground utility crossing through DD88, Sac County, DD280, Calhoun County and Joint DD44, Sac and 182, Calhoun. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor's office. Ayes all, motion carried.
There was no report from the County Engineer.
At the request of the County Attorney, it was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to go into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code 21.5(1 )(c). Ayes Drake, Fischer, Wissler; nays none, motion carried. Time 10:40 AM.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to come out of closed session at 11 ;15 am. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to table any action on a tower lease amendment with Verizon Wireless until Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Ayes all, motion carried.
With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
