The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the minutes of the last meeting as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
There was no one present for Citizens Input.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve a special claim for the ambulance in the amount of $944.55. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the claims as presented in the amount of $115,227.88. Ayes all. Motion carried.
Nick Buse, County Engineer, updated the Board regarding Secondary Roads projects, including current and future projects. There was some discussion regarding the notice procedure when roads will be closed for repair. He reviewed the Tile Crossing Permit and the 2026 Right-of-Way Policy with the Board. There was no action taken and the Tile Crossing Permit and 2026 ROW Policy were moved to the April 21, 2026, agenda.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to designate Renee Roland, Deputy Auditor, as temporary Auditor’s Designee and authorized her to fulfill all general duties of the office of County Auditor, including signatory power, until such time as an appointment is made or special election called to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Jim Dowling. Ayes all. Motion carried.
There being no further business, on motion by Drake and seconded by Fischer, the meeting was adjourned.
