The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present. Jim Wissler, Chairman, presiding.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve the minutes of the last meeting as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
There was no one present for Citizens Input.
Ben Wallace, DNR and representative for Black Hawk Lake Protective Association, presented a Special Projects Fund Application in the amount of $1,166.66 for a portion of the Black Hawk Lake Vegetation Management Treatment. There was no waiver of decision deadline. There was no action taken and item is tabled to June 9, 2026, meeting.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to approve claims in the amount of $284,070.96. Ayes all. Motion carried.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to accept the engagement from TP Anderson & Co to provide services to reissue the financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2024 and perform a single audit at an approximate fee of $10,000, due to the subsequent determination that the county was subject to a single audit as more than $1,000,000 in federal awards were expended during the fiscal year. Ayes all. Motion carried.
At 10:15am, Chairman Wissler opened the Public Hearing for the FY2026 Budget Amendment.
It was moved by Drake and seconded by Fischer to close the public hearing.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to adopt the FY2026 Budget Amendment, showing an increase in revenue of $150,280 and an increase in expenses of $1,403,705. Ayes all. Motion carried.
With no public input and limited procedural questions from a few county departments, it was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the Second Reading of the Proposed Sac County Ordinances. Ayes all. Motion carried.
There being no further business, on motion by Fischer and seconded by Drake, the meeting was adjourned.
