The Sac County Board of Supervisors met for a work session with Chairman Wissler, presiding, and the following members present: Drake and Fischer; and with Auditor Renee Roland as clerk for the meeting. Absent: None. Also present was Ben Smith, County Attorney, Kristen Wirtjers, Deputy Auditor and Savana Dettmann, Auditor Clerk.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
There was discussion regarding a potential Human Resources position and development of a job description should that be the direction decided upon. There was also discussion regarding how portions of human resources, payroll and benefits would be divided between the possible position and the Auditor’s office. There was no action taken. It was decided that there would be another work session to discuss this matter further on August 25, 2026.
There being no further business, on motion by Drake and seconded by Fischer, the meeting was adjourned.
