The Sac County Board of Supervisors met for a work session with Chairman Wissler, presiding, and the following members present: Drake and Fischer; and with Auditor Renee Roland as clerk for the meeting. Absent: None. Also present was Ben Smith, County Attorney, Kristen Wirtjers, Deputy Auditor and Savana Dettmann, Auditor Clerk.
It was moved by Fischer and seconded by Drake to approve the agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried.
There was discussion regarding a potential Human Resources position and development of a job description. There was review of potential job descriptions for the County Auditor and employees of that office. It was noted by the County Auditor that the job descriptions are subject to change as the office is still trying to work out division of responsibilities after the retirement of former Auditor Jim Dowling. There was discussion on how gaps in the Auditor’s office could be remedied as well. There was no action taken.
There being no further business, on motion by Drake and seconded by Fischer, the meeting was adjourned.
