Grant Park

The North Raccoon River winds along the eastern boundary of the park and provides excellent opportunities for fishing and viewing wildlife. The park has 3 separate camping areas. Area 1 has 19 camping sites, 9 with full hookup-water, sewer and electric both 30 & 50 amp and 10 with water and electric, and a dump station is also available. Area 2 & 3 are open to primitive camping only.

A fishing riffle provides chances for walleye, channel catfish and carp. Bowhunting is allowed in Grant Park during the appropriate seasons and hunting with a firearm is allowed only after the camping area has been closed for the season. (mid-October to May 1)

Features

• A shower/restroom facility is in close proximity to the campground and playground area. Areas 2 & 3 are available for primitive camping only. There are picnicking opportunities throughout the park.
